Folksy Friday, Best Talented A-Listers

Friday already? who did that, surely we havent moved passed Monday yet? goodness me, time goes so quickly.

As I have only done one blog post this month on the A-Listers this weeks Folksy Friday better be then, these are the very hard working Folksy members who try to list one of their fabulous items each day (or near enough), so please do take a look by clicking on the picture and being transported to the rest of the shop of wonders and temptations, all more than worthy on new homes..its Friday, you need a treat!!!

One of the first items I saw today was this necklace from "Be Beautiful Again Trinkets' great name, and super shop

The jewellery on Folksy is second to none, and most is one off originals, so wont be seen on another whilst you are out being admired. Here is another necklace from "Laura Faye Crafts"

The earrings in this shop are amazing, this talented lady draws them herself! Here are a pair ready for halloween by "Created by Kelly"

Dont you just hate it when you visit a friend on their birthday to find the same card you bought duplicated on their mantle? not when you buy from Folksy, here is one for the boys from "Adien Crafts"

Geisha Dolls, what a great idea - here they are as earrings from "Damselfly Gemma"

This is a stunning necklace, wait till my Mum sees it, she loves owls. Again not something you see on the mass produced shelves, Turquoise Owl by "Mary Elliott"

I just love all the items in this shop, from "Vintage Dreams" today are a set of shabby chic gift tags to brighten up your gifts

Lastly, from my other shop SimJaTa2 (link to the side of page) the last in this type of brooches, my new creations will be in the shop very soon - and OH is slowly working on a new website for them too, I just need to find a few more hours to get some new designs made. This one is a Fox Terrier in his wooly scarf

I hope you have enjoyed today's Folksy Friday Selection.

More from the Folksy Mayhem Folks

I think I am getting far too addicted to this new club, may be something to do with the warm welcome? Just love watching the new crafts added throughout the day, the hard part is choosing the favourites, I forced myself to choose just 7 today - was not an easy task. But I did also do some tweeting earlier of some of the other items, also tried not to duplicate from my last choices although of course I do favour some shops.

Also enjoying browsing and today's blog as I am 'meant' to be tidying up the front garden - promised myself I would do it today, but it just might rain (before I get around to getting out there)

To begin today is an ACEO from the Nostalgia Collection by "Maxine Veronica Art"

Stunning Earrings with sky blue flowers from "Milliebead"

Here from "Diomo Glass" some sunshine for all year round for your window sill

One of my, (and my Mums) favourite jewellers "Bessie loves" with this lovely brass butterfly necklace

This is something totally different, completely caught my eye - sure it will yours too, how about this for a totally individual gift from "Spirit of the Woods"

From "Lynwoodcrafts" this really pretty lavender bag, just after I choose this picture I noticed another one of 3 - what a great set.

From "Pants and Paper" great quality gift tags, finish off a Folksy gift in style

Lastly, from "Bags of Swank by SimJaTa" a gift for the horse person, tote bag with wild horses

Hope you enjoyed today's choices, for more information and to look at the rest of the wonderful shops above, simply click on the picture to be taken to their shop.

Not raining yet, suppose I really should make for the garden.

Folksy Friday - The Special Ones Part 1.

Good Afternoon, and welcome to this weeks Folksy Friday. Having said I would showcase all the wonderful people who contributed to my blog giveaway I had not actually realised how many this involved, so will have to be in two parts or gives an overloaded look which is no good.
So, here is the first part of Folksy Friday highlighting half of the Special ones from Folksy and one extra shop that is not a Folksy shop but still deserving of the same recognition. Dont forget, all you have to do is just click the photograph to be taken for further details, and a look around the rest of that sellers shop.

To Begin here is an item from Sugarmice, I think these earrings are such fun and very unique

Next is Nithria cards, this one is my favourite should be as I have already purchased one for my Mum on Mothers Day, it is on its way to me complete with a chosen verse

Julie Monk Photography has a shop full of wonderful Photographs, either to display or to purchase on cards

From Crystal Velvet I have selected one of her fabulous fun sock monkeys from her shop RaRa Bazaar

As my own birthday is in April, I just love these April earrings by Red Moon

JinJa Jewellery has this gorgeous bracelet amounst her collection

Here at Bags of Swank by SimJaTa, recently added is this lovely family of cute foxes on a Tote Bag/Shoulder Bag.

Lastly, but my no means least is my friend Mick at Shpangle Jewellery, with his fabulous unique designs (hope this works) not on Folksy but his own website

I hope to treat you to part 2 tomorrow, have a good weekend.

New Destash Shop

I decided there just must be some extra spare hours in the day, so along with my other 2 shops on Folksy I have opened a destash shop, currently selling beads and jewellery supplies but will soon have card stock and items for card makers and maybe even some fabric. This came about after a much needed sort out of the craft room to make space for the extra fabric arriving, all neatly boxed up now. Unearthed in far corners of the room was the remains of my jewellery days, I sold a lot of it years back and hadnt realised there was so much left. It is being sold at very reasonable prices, in the hope it will go to my fellow Folksy crafters and help them make some funds.
Here is one of my latest listings, just click on the photo and it will take you to the new shop..

Must admit I am finding 3 shops pretty difficult to keep on top of, and still find the time to do what I enjoy the most, which is the Bags of Swank by SimJaTa side of things making bags, I did manage to finish off another messenger bag toward the end of last week, but only just found a moment to list it on Folksy today.

I really dont know were this weekend got too, I think somebody stole it from me, most of today has been spent awaiting the arrival of new washing machine, and tonight will be catching up on the weeks worth of washing that has also been waiting.

Still, at least I now have a wonderful spacious craft room to work in, all neat and tidy, polished and waiting for me... all I need now is some time to get in there..
